At Somers Forge, all of our facilities are inhouse, enabling us to offer our complete forging solution.  Having complete inhouse manufacturing improves efficiency, gives greater flexibility and reduces risk all round.  Other forging companies outsource, making the process longer and they will have to go back and forth with any modifications.

All Somers products are made bespoke to customer requirements and as a UK manufacturer, we offer on-off individual items.  Often these items are needed quickly for breakdowns or as a new trial project. MP James Morris Visits

Local Halesowen & Rowley Regis MP James Morris Visit’s Somers Forge after the recent rebrand.

James Morris was given a tour of our huge site including both the heavy forge and machine shop. He witnessed the mammoth 4,000 tonne hydraulic press forging 20 tonne 410 stainless ingot. This year alone we have invested 2million on upgrades to our presses and continued to install new equipment to the machine shop.
